What is the School of Hebrew?
School of Hebrew is an online community for those who wish to learn and understand the Hebrew language in its cultural context. But it’s more than just a teaching class – it’s a community of people at different stages of learning Hebrew, some with the purpose of better understanding Scripture, and others wanting to be able to converse in Hebrew.
While you can attend our teaching sessions and contact the teacher with questions, we also offer the opportunity to connect with fellow learners. You may wish to engage with classmates, share experiences, and enjoy your journey together. The School of Hebrew provides a flexible learning environment where you can choose the level of engagement that suits you.
Our Purpose
Our mission is to help people “learn Hebrew with a purpose.” We use the Hebrew language to help you unlock a deep comprehension of Scripture and foster a closer relationship with the Lord. Through our courses, we blend language learning with biblical insights, cultural context, and Jewish thinking to deepen people’s understanding of Scripture.
How do you become a part of this community?
You can make a request to join above by answering a couple of questions. You will then receive an email once your request has been processed. Or, if you know someone already in the community, they can invite you to join directly. Once you have joined, you can learn more about the community ethos, and the structure and level of the classes and get a sense of how it works before joining a class. Joining the School of Hebrew community is free. Only when you wish to join a class will you need to activate a subscription.
